Tropika Paraíso, our 2014 swim collection, launched this week. Here's a look at the original sketches that helped to inspire production of the final line:

Named in the native language of the Caribbean, the tropical-inspired collection features retro swimsuits and cover-ups, ideal for beach vacations or weekends spent lounging by the pool. 

The suits are flirty and feminine, reminiscent of 1950s styles with peplum pops, keyhole cutouts, skirted bottoms and ruched details. Vibrant colors, Bohemian prints and Crêpe De Chine fabrics round out the summer-ready collection.

Shabby Apple founder, Athelia Wooley LeSueur designed the collection specifically with the Caribbean in mind. “I love the vibrancy of the Caribbean,” LeSueur said, “and I wanted to show it with a vintage vibe.”
