Affiliate Program Questions and Answers

Question - How does the Shabby Apple Affiliate program work?

1. You sign up as an affiliate in our affiliate sign up page
2. You put and link or ad for Shabby Apple on your page
3. One of your readers clicks on the ad
4. Anytime during the next 15 days if that reader buys something from Shabby Apple, you will receive a 5% commission (as long as they do not return the item within the next 15 days)
5. You will receive payment for all of the sales every three months or when your account reaches over $50.00.

Question - What is the commission rate for the affiliate program?

The commission rate is 5% on all qualified sales.

Question - What is a "qualified sale"?

A qualified sale is the sale of any product on the Shabby Apple website (shabbyapple.com) that is not returned within 15 days of purchase.

Question - What is the average order size for the Shabby Apple website?

Our average order size is $100.

Question - How do I link to Shabby Apple?

Question - What kind of links may I use to connect to the Shabby Apple site?

Affiliates may use either text links or banner links to connect to the Shabby Apple site. See our Affiliate Links page for more information.

Question - May I create my own links?

Yes, you may create your own text links.

Question - What are the guidelines for creating my own links?

Links must not be misleading. They should clearly identify to your site visitor what your are linking too. You should also make sure to include Shabby Apple branding in the link (such as "Dresses from Shabby Apple").

Question - How will I get paid?

Payments will be paid via paypal. Please register your paypal email address upon sign up. If you do not have a paypal account, please create one or you may choose to be paid via a Shabby Apple Gift Card.

Question - When can I expect to get paid?

Payments will be sent every 3 months or when the account reaches $50.

Question - How can I best drive sales?

See our Promoting Shabby Apple page for ideas on how to promote Shabby Apple. In general you should look to: Put a Shabby Apple banner ad in a highly visible place on your site; and write about Shabby Apple on your site with text links to Shabby Apple.
