 This dress surprised me. I was not sure if I should risk the empire waist since I'm 5'8 with the following measurements: 30FF-29-37. I ordered it in the medium to avoid the small sleeves problem that was mentioned in previous reviews and the other risks associated with a more ample bust and an empire waistline. I felt a little strange with the higher round neckline and the empire waist at first because it made me feel conscientious about the size of my chest; however, I received so many compliments on this one. Men definitely seemed to like this dress more than women, which surprised me because it seemed pretty conservative to me, and it was also a looser fit since I ordered the medium. Maybe it's the blue color that they liked so much? The cotton fabric is nice; I thought it would have a more sateen finish, but it does not. It's still lovely though. For me, this is much more of an explore-an-old-European-city or enjoy-a-picnic kind of dress than--say--a wedding guest or work dress. Oh, the ruched sleeves actually work well for anyone who might be more self-conscious about her arms. Overall, this is a great recreational, knee-length dress that requires a slip underneath. Order your usual size, so the sleeves will fit. I know if I ordered the SA sizing recommendation, the sleeves would not have fit my arms.

 Just received this and was fine with the weight of the fabric and love the beautiful pattern. Based on the size chart, I ordered a XS. I am 34-26-36, 5'6, somewhat athletic. The dress fits like a glove through the body, a little loose in the bust and shoulders. The cut is very flattering - it makes my waist look absolutely tiny! Its a little bit of a challenge to put on, because as noted by other reviewers, the fabric is thin and there isn't a lot of give. Love SA!

 I just received this dress via mail and tried it on - gorgeous! I usually need a size Small in dresses, but I noted the description and sized down to an XS - perfect fit! I'm thin but a little curvy on the bottom, so I love that this dress is a light material without being clingy or see-through. It also seems to be nice and light, perfect for summer days.

 Excellent fit! I love it. I am very petite, 5'0'' and have a short torso and small bust, but the XS fit perfectly.

 I am super happy with this dress! Looks and fits FANTASTIC. I was a little hesitant to order since everyone said the material is thin and it isn't lined. I am glad I did though because that didn't bother me at all. I think it will be great to wear in the spring/summer. I am a size 10/12 in dresses, 5'6. I am larger in the bust area and so I ordered an XL. I am glad I did because it fits perfect. The dark blue lining comes right below my bust line. Any smaller in size and it would be much to far up making it look awkward on me. Another thing I took note of is the sleeves fit perfect which leaves me wondering in a size smaller, would the cap sleeves be to tight? With that being said though, I would probably go down a size in any other SA dress (the shoulders/chest and hip area would be much to big) but for this particular cut and style I wouldn't change a thing. I am very excited about wearing it!!!
