 I did not expect to like this dress. I was not sure about the flowers on the front but they are really cute. The dress is fun and casual. Fits me a little snug but not uncomfortably since the fabric is stretchy.

 I love this dress. I wear it all the time, and everyone compliments me all the time in it. So great! Maybe the other reviewers were struggling with the dress having static from coming out of the bag and then attracting lint, because it is a nice normal cotton poplin, and I love it and have no issue with lint.

 When my sister got married, she picked "Black Oak" for her bridesmaids. The dress is very cute and flattering, but we had some issues with consistency. The four bridesmaids came from out of state, so we didn't compare dresses until the wedding day. When we did, we found that one of the four came without a sash, and another had a different type of applique--four-petal flowers rather than gathered strips. These differences were apparent in the photos. So a warning to those looking for matching bridesmaid dresses: Make sure all the girls are receiving the same thing!

 I too was very disappointed in the quality of fabric. It is very cheap, wrinkles, and attracts lint. I gave it 3 stars for being cute, and 0 for quality. If I would have seen it in person at a store, there is no way I would have even tried it on, let alone bought it, based on how cheap it looks.

 This dress is flattering and so cute on, BUT, it attracts so much lint as to be almost unwearable. This is the first shabby apple dress I've purchased so I don't know if all the material is like this. It makes the dress appear really cheap when it's covered with lint before I even get out of the house in it.
