Love this dress! Wore it to my cousin's rehearsal dinner this past weekend and I got so many compliments. Love your clothes. I love vintage, modest clothing and your site is perfect!

This is the best-fitting dress I have ever got from Shabby Apple. I am almost 6 feet, 34 DD cup, 34" waist and relatively narrow hip. Mast dresses are too small in the chest for me and too loose around the hip and too short in length. This one is perfect in every way. The material is nice and strong, does not cling and the color is nicer than in the photo. The dress can be accessorized for various occasions. I am thrilled with it.

I bought this dress and I think it is very pretty. The fabric is almost shimmery. The only reason I sent it back is it has almost a formal look to it and I like a bit more casual. I got the bon voyage in replacement of this dress and I like that one better. I do think it is very nice and pretty though and recommend it. It did seem meant to be a very fitted/form fitting dress and will show all your curves so if you aren't comfortable with that then you wouldn't want this dress. It is also somewhat long. My first thought when I tried it on was that I looked like a purple mermaid but then I really liked it haha. I think it almost needs a belt to break it up like in the photo. I think it would be great for an office dress like implied in the photos/collection or as bridesmaid dresses.

I'm 4'11", 105lb - the XXS fit well (hopefully it won't shrink in the wash!), although of course the hem hits me at lower calf level rather than the knee. The color is not quite as deep and velvety as in the picture, but still very pretty. Quality of construction is not amazing - lots of loose threads dangling out the seams, and the boat neck seems a tad uneven.

I loved the color and fabric and how the neckline and sleeves fit. Sadly I had to return it though because it is designed to fit very tightly around the butt. Such a shame!
