 Just received this dress in the mail and it is beautiful! The fabric is crisp and has a nice weight to it. I am 5'4" and have a curvy body. I ordered a medium and it is perfect. Because of the full skirt and the sash, it is easy to cinch the waist as tight as you need to. I will say, however, that the loops that are provided for the sash are definitely not in the right place. They are really high (just under the bust line) and the sash looks far more flattering when tied at the natural waist (as in the pictures to the left). I plan on cutting them off and tieing it at the natural waist. Overall, beautiful, playful dress!

 Love this! Shabby Apple told me that it had been remade in a much thicker fabric and the dress I got was out of thick fabric and wasn't see-through at all. I loved the sash on this and also liked the fit on my waist.

 So I was waiting for Shabby Apple to get in new sizes in this dress as my size was sold out, and the remake is awesome! the fabric weight is much nicer, not sheer at all, and the fit is perfect. the bust is right where it should be and the dress is so flattering. Way to go Shabby, thanks for addressing all the issues other reviewers seemed to have, b/c I didn't have to deal with them at all.

 Overall, I really like the shape of the dress, great for a pear shape body type! The material is EXTREMELY see through. It is very difficult to wear a slip with because the seam is under the bust, but the slip sits at the waist. I'm having my tailor add a lining. Would agree that this runs a little generous, I ordered down a size from my typical size.

 A few points about this dress-- although it looks like a wrap, it is not (the description leads in this direction, but not explicitly)-- I'd been hoping for some custom-ability through the bust and the waist-tie helps this. The material is very lightweight, and if you're shy you may need to wear a slip underneath it. The pleating begins at the top of the thigh, and makes the whole dress look wonderful; just the right amount of motion.
