 I really like this dress. However, I gave it 4 stars for 2 reasons. First is the fit. The fit runs smaller than other Shabby Apple dresses I have in the same size. I ordered my usual size 6 for dresses with Numbered Sizing. The dress was slightly snug through the waist and hips and not as pictured on the model. If you would prefer a looser fit like the model, I would suggest ordering a size up. The fabric is a thick cotton twill with stretch so it's forgiving and not revealing. I can live with the slightly snug fit but, I'm fairly narrow in the hips so that was a surprise for me. Second is the neckline. A bit lower than I prefer but again not too revealing. I would prefer a slightly higher neckline. The neckline went lower on me than the model's pictures. I'm 5' 5" with an athletic build in the shoulders and the dress otherwise fit me fine through the shoulders.
