 I was hesitant to buy this dress after reading the other reviews, but I am so glad I went with it! It's true, it IS unlined which is disappointing, but I do not find it itchy at all. I ordered a 6 (I am usually a size 6 in dresses) and it fit like a glove. If you are well-endowed I would recommend going up a size or two, as the top is very snug (I am a 34B). Other than that, I think this is a fabulous dress!!

 So this dress is unlined. And wool. That's exactly as unpleasant as it sounds. I can't decide exactly what I think of it, otherwise. I like the cut, generally, though the arms are definitely cut so that if you raise your arms, the entire dress follows. I could see them being very tight if you carry your weight more in your upper body. It's less a soft brownish grey, as in the photo, than black and white. There's just something off about the collar, though. It shows up looking like it's the most comically wide turtleneck ever, and even when you unbutton it, it never exactly loses that feel. I think the neck might just be too wide. There's too much space on the unbuttoned side, I think, close to 2-3 between it and my neck. Maybe it doesn't drape enough? I'm not sure, but I think it's going back.

 I was so excited to get this dress but it is unfortunately going back. The fit was way off--too tight in the shoulders and too loose in the hips/waist. It's not worth paying for the alterations I would need to make this fit. As the previous reviewer mentioned the lack of lining is also a problem. This is the first dress I've ordered with the numbered sizing system so I'm really hoping it's not a continuing issue!
