This dress is so great. I love the fit of the sleeves and the length. it's really flattering for any shape of arm. it hits right at the knee (5'7"). it's just so simple and elegant. i think it can easily be dressed way up or down which is a quality i really love in a dress.

I think the color is bit dull. You really have to put make up on your face if you are pale and liven the dress with some jewelery and a nice shawl. The fit is indeed generous because I am L, and even L is sometimes too small for me. The dress is a little too wide for me in the hips, but I do have narrow hips. The workmanship is somewhat shabby. The lace part is not attached to the lining on the right size, but it is partially caught in the lining seam on the left, under the zip. So the lace pulls there.

I recieved this dress very quickly in the mail, which may have been the only good thing. the dress fit somewhat like a potato sack. It was not fitted around my waste, and the neckline came nearly half way up my neck and felt like it was practically choking me. it was also a different color than i thought. The pictures make it seem like a ceam color, with a light pink hue in some lighting, but the dress is actaully quite purple. there was also extra fabric that puckered on the lower back and belly. I was quite unimpressed with the quality, as the seam in a few places looked unfinished and bumped out along the sides. I definietly don't think this dress is worth $88. not even close. However, I've never had an issue dealing with shabby apple. They've been great to work with by way of returns and/or exchanged goods or refunds.
