 I usually wear a large or an extra large, but I bought a medium since this was all that was available close to my size, thinking that it'll fit me someday when I lose the weight I'm hoping to. I tried it on when it arrived and it fit a little snuggly, and after a month more of dieting, it fits pretty well (I'm 5'7" and 185 pounds). The bust fits beautifully (I'm a 36 D). The arms are a little tight, but the material is stretchy, so it works. The dress falls just below my knees and the skirt is lined. It's a little bunchy in the waist with all the fabric, so it looks best on me with a wide belt. I love this dress and every time I have an opportunity to wear it, it makes me smile just to put it on. It's very comfortable. I made the mistake of undoing the knot at the collar when I put it on and had to figure out how to re-tie it. There's not need to untie the knot, since the neck is wide enough to slip over the top of my head.

 The fabric is thick and great quality, so this dress can be worn in the cold season as well. Also, it's fully lined. Unfortunately, I ordered one sizer bigger than I should have, so now I need to alter it - it was my first SA dress so I wasn't sure about the sizing. Since the skirt is very wide, I suggest you only consider the size chart for the chest and waist.

 I really like this dress but I definitely agree that it runs large. Ordered my usual size Small and it's a bit loose all over. I like the material and that it's lined. I am going to try to shrink it and plan to use a white belt with the dress.

 I bought XS according to the fits generously chart and the entire top was still too large. Generally this isn't a problem for me because I have wide shoulders and I normally wear S. The weight of the fabric causes the dress to sag in the front of the chest ruining the nice neckline. I'll have to try to shrink it a bit, but beware because the sizing chart was not accurate for me.
