When Coco Chanel created the first drop-waist dress in the 1920s, fashionistas the world over fell for its waifish shape, swingy skirt and loose, free-form silhouette. Our version captures the same famous shift shape, crafted of crepe de chine with a fine sequined over layer, with the addition of a silk satin sash at the hips.
