Hair Today
I am in the middle of growing out my hair. As a life-long Person With Short Hair, this is a somwhat painful, excruciating process. I have attempted and failed many times, but this time I think I am going to make it all the way. And when I do, I am going to reward myself with one of these stunningly adorable hair accessories from Spellbound.

I am rather partial to the cocktail hat-inspired options, but celebrating Spring with a flock of butterflies in my hair is also a highly appealing option.
If you are jonesing for some hair magic right now, head over to Have A Cute Day and enter their Spellbound giveaway.
You're welcome!
P.S. Also, does anyone have tips for making your hair grow faster? I am already downing the prenatal vitamins but I swear I have the slowest growing hair, like, ever.

Poor dear, I am sorry to hear that your hair is a slow-grower. :( I have to admit that I can't share in your pain since my hair grows *really* fast, but maybe I can console you with the fact that it isn't always as "fun" as it may seem to have fast growing hair (for example, layers can sometimes grow out faster before I have a chance to learn how to style them "just-so" ;) . Well, I have heard that to make your hair grow faster, eat a lot of protein (I eat a hardboiled egg every morning). Other than that, just make sure that your ends are trimmed (even if it does take away some of your length)- it makes your hair look more neat and well-kempt. Also, shiny/glossy hair can create an illusion of being longer than it actually is: after washing your hair, rinse with really cold water and if you blow dry your hair, when you are about finished, use the coldest setting on your hair. Both of these make the cuticle of your hair lie flat, and give your hair that silky sheen. I hope this helps, and I hope that you post pics of your Rapunzel-like hair when you are through growing it out! ;)
Healthy hair grows faster so use a good shampoo and conditioner and get regular small trims. Be sure not to use too much heat in your current styling. That will dry it out and slow hair growth. The reason prenatal vitamins help one's hair grow faster is primarily because of the calcium in them. Go to a good nutrition store and get a high quality calcium and it will probably work even better. Protein intake also helps. Good luck with growing your long locks.
Ironically, trimming your hair reguarly will help it grow out faster. Think of it like grass: once it gets to a certain length, it just stops growing altogether. Trimming it stimulates growth. I'm trying to grow out my hair, too, good luck!
Huge fan of Spellbound!! :) I've never cut my hair, but one of the easiest tips to keeping your hair healthy and strong is to use minimal heat! There are products that can tame friz and curls without the harmful affects of blow drying or curlers, etc. And, always condition your hair well!
Just like daring2bdifferent, my hair grows really quickly, too :-/ This can be annoying on our part sometimes. You keep having to get a haircut and none of them really turn out the way it was before!
To stimulate hair growth, you need to brush your hair often. Just like shaving hair, the friction causes blood to circulate around that area you apply pressure to causing hair growth.
frances--just bit the bullet and get hair extensions! voila! instant long hair never felt so good!
